Terms & Conditions  

BOOKINGS  

Please note the below ‘Terms and Conditions’ may be subject to change without notice.  

1. Reservations are only secured on receipt of a completed Booking Form and appropriate deposit payment. All  bookings must be made by fully completing our Booking Forms.  

2. For individual or group bookings a 25% deposit of the estimated charge is required. Deposits are non-refundable.  3. For group bookings; Number of guests, arrival time and listed dietary meal requirements to be confirmed when  submitting booking form.  

4. Increases or decreases to number of guests or meals can be considered up to three weeks before the event only.  5. St Joseph’s Prayer Centre management reserves the right to change room allocation at their discretion, if  necessary.  

6. A maximum of 22 residential guests at any one time.  

SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNT  

7. Please ask at Reception for your invoice. Full payment of balance is due on the same day and this can be paid  by cheque or cash. We do not accept card payment. You can also pay in full beforehand by BACS.  

8. For larger Organisations where settlement on the same day is not possible, invoiced accounts must be  settled in full within 14 days of the end of the event.  

CANCELLATION  

9. If you cancel your entire booking, your deposit will be retained and in addition, you may be charged cancellation  fees as follows:  

• Total cancellation less than 7 days to the date of your event - 50% of the balance of your booking.  • Part cancellation of booking within 48 hours of commencement - No cancellation charge for first two rooms  cancelled. Any further cancellations result in a charge of 50% of room rate per room.  

CHECKING IN AND OUT  

10. Residential guests can check in from 3pm onwards. On day of departure please hand keys to staff or put in  basket provided at reception area.  

11. The Hirer will be liable for any damage to the room, furniture or equipment caused by themselves or their  delegates or anyone for whom they are responsible.  

GENERAL  

12. St Joseph’s Prayer Centre cannot accept responsibility or liability (other than as a direct result of its own  negligence) for any injury, personal loss or damage to personal property belonging to Hirers or their  delegates/attendees, or for their motor vehicles and contents.  

13. The management’s decision will be final over determining any questions arising in relation to the interpretation  of these Terms and Conditions.  

14. St Joseph’s Prayer Centre is a Non-Smoking/Vaping site. Use of battery-operated candles only.  

15. If through circumstances beyond our immediate control it becomes necessary to cancel an event or limit  availability, all payments made will be reimbursed within 14 days in full settlement of any claim.  16. We do not store bank details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.  

17. Please note that wheelchair access is limited to the Ground floor.  

18. It is regretted that pets are not allowed, with the exception of registered assistance dogs. 19. All guests are required to observe the Health & Safety and fire regulations, and evacuation instructions.  

20. Complimentary Wi-Fi available.  

21. A stair lift is available for use. 

DATA PROTECTION  

Personal information provided by guests is stored securely in the Centre`s records system and will be used solely for  the Centre`s purposes. It will not be passed on to anyone else.  

COVID-19  

Prior to arrival, we ask guests only to travel to St. Joseph’s Prayer Centre if they are healthy and have not  experienced any of the symptoms related to Covid-19 or have tested positive for Covid-19.  

In the event of government restrictions affecting a guest booking (on either the part of St. Joseph’s Prayer Centre  or guest), we will endeavour to re-book affected guest/s to a later date (subject to availability), provide a credit  note, or offer a full refund. Please be aware that cancellation terms and conditions may apply in full (as outlined  above) where government restrictions are not in place and do not affect a guest booking.  

In the event St. Joseph’s Prayer Centre is affected and required to lockdown then our usual cancellation terms  apply as outlined above.  

The group organiser is expected to communicate all the information on this form to their  participants.
