It gives me much joy to invite you to consider coming to spend time with us at our Prayer Centre near Formby Point, close to Southport and Liverpool. The prayer centre is ideal for individuals and group retreats. Come for the day or stay longer. We welcome all who are searching for life in its fullness.

It is situated in beautiful grounds surrounded by the National Trust pine forest which includes a squirrel reserve. There are lots of woodland and coastal walks. The sea is just 10 minutes’ walk away. Spacious well-kept lawns surround the premises; and ample parking is available. There is a peaceful garden with a cascading waterfall. The tranquillity of the location makes it the ideal setting to “come aside … and rest awhile.” (Mark 6:31), with God, others and oneself.

The Centre offers two main meeting rooms. One is suitable for groups around 18, and the other for groups 50 plus. In addition there is an ‘oasis’ room for individuals or small groups up to 6. Within the house itself there are several quiet corners for reflection. Also available is a Prayer Room as well as a large Chapel.

On the first floor there are 20 bedrooms, none en-suite. For individuals who have difficulty negotiating stairs we have two bedrooms on the ground floor, both en-suite.

We welcome groups, parishes, fellowships, sodalities, house groups; day visits or residential. There are various meal arrangements. Throughout the year a variety of parish groups come to us for day retreats, 24 hour, or week-end retreats. We welcome school and Confirmation Groups, mainly for day retreats.

For anyone visiting us and would like to join the Sisters for Mass, weekday Mass is celebrated at 10:00am. On Sunday the Mass is celebrated at 11:00am in the main chapel.

We look forward to seeing you,

May the Lord bless you,
